Senior Benefits Center was founded in 2011 as a local insurance agency in Charlotte North Carolina. Growth forced us to move, and in 2016 we landed just south of the border in Rock Hill, South Carolina becoming a regional agency now licensed in 17 states. We offer national insurance carriers in Medicare, Healthcare Marketplace, Ancillary Healthcare, Life insurance and Financial Services for individuals and families of all ages.

How are your services free?

Our agency gets paid by the insurance carriers we represent. You pay the exact same premium regardless of where or how you purchase your policy. There is no extra fee for using a broker. The insurance carriers build the commission into the policies, so if you don’t use a broker the carrier gets to keep the fee.

There are many advantages of working with an insurance broker.  Our agents are specifically trained in Medicare to help you and are required to go through training each year to stay current on the product plans and details of each carrier they represent.  Agents have access to special data that you may not have access to and software that allows them to make side by side comparisons based on what’s important to you and your situation.

About our Founder

Founded in 2011 by Robert (Rob) Baer, Senior Benefits Center began and remains a family owned and operated private business dedicated to assisting the aging population with healthcare and benefits.

Rob has called the Charlotte/Rock Hill area home for more than 30 years. Originally from Ohio, he now lives in Rock Hill, South Carolina, with his wife, Ronie Jo, and their daughter. Family is at the center of Rob’s life, and he is grateful to also have five grown children, five grandchildren, and more blessings on the way.

Rob and his family are active members of Impact Church in Rock Hill and enjoy spending time outdoors together, whether gardening, rafting, or hiking local trails. He values community, faith, and building lasting relationships with the people he serves.

Since 2011, Rob has been helping local residents find insurance solutions that fit their needs. In 2012, he founded the Senior Benefits Center, where he not only serves clients directly but also trains and mentors agents to better care for their own communities through Life, Health, and Medicare insurance.
